Projects – Overview
Medical Intelligence CBRNE Inc. (MEDINT CBRNE Group) has its own wing of Research and Development in the field of Defence and Security. The company’s research projects are not disclosed here.
The company has been also a partner with Doctor Stephane Bourassa’s research for years. Here are the main topics.
- CBRNE Defence Research Program For Clinicians (CBRNEDRPC)
- International Multicentric Observational Study
- VIMY Multi-System Research Program (VIMY)
- Programme Gladiator (Gladiator)
CBRNEDRPC
This research program aim at reinvigorating the clinical knowledge (including the know-how) and developing technologies in mass casualty management situations in acute care settings/medical extraction from contaminated environment into a clean zone in hospital settings.
VIMY Multi-system
This research program aim at reinvigorating the clinical knowledge (including the know-how) and developing technologies in mass casualty management situations in acute care settings/medical extraction from contaminated environment into a clean zone in hospital settings.
Building on the work begun in 2007, the aim of the research program is to develop a multi-system driven by an artificial intelligence (AI) capability. In turn, VIMY Multi-system uses drones, robotics, and other automated systems to manage mass casualties during disasters, such as chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRNE) attacks.
Gladiator
This research program aims at developing continuously mobile laboratory and multitask vehicles for the fields of scientific research and potentially defence and security sectors here in Canada than abroad for our allied. The JEEP Gladiator platform was chosen due to its qualities and overall potential. This research program is equally shared by the company in line with its expertise within the Canadian Defence and Security Industry and by Dr Bourassa, PhD for his research.
International Observational Study
We are participating to an International Multicentric Observational Study until 2036.
